For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

This swaps the current item for another of the same type, with a different set of extra bonuses. upgrade item are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on an item for example, increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment into three categories three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. These stones can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes it an excellent way for players to get an advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new piece of gear.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. There are a variety of methods to get them. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is attained.
Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of the item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. In the same way, once an item is on an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for additional effects or to increase the item level. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve the perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the requirements required for that item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
